Jan-al Cards is a business that was born 10 years ago, out of the creative force of Visual Artist Allison Jones. Allison is multi media artist who produces beautiful imagery, in a variety of formats including photography, drawing, collage and digital manipulation. Her naive style is uniquely personal and gives insight into the joyful, colorful and very individual perspective of its creator. Allison’s love of plant life and animals is very evident in her art and these themes reoccur throughout her body of work. The Jan-al Card logo was inspired by a much loved family pet, and her engaging depiction of animals has led to a range of unique pet cards and pet portrait commissions. Allison regularly exhibits in community exhibitions around Brisbane and sells her card range to individuals and organisations, who use her greeting cards for Christmas mail outs as well as Birthday and Thank You cards for their clientele. Allison’s progress as an artist and business woman has been supported by her local community, her family and the many friends she has met along her journey. You can find Allison’s range of cards displayed in selected coffee shops and organisations around Brisbane.
